In the Shin-Etsu KY series, KY-1908 is equivalent to KY-1901. The introduction of the KY-1908 model is due to the inclusion of 3M Novec 7200 in the solvent of KY-1901. However, with the discontinuation of Novec 7200 and the entire fluorinated product line by 3M, Shin-Etsu replaced the solvent component with an equivalent alternative (matching the CAS# of 3M Novec). The polymer component of KY-1901 remains unchanged, with only the solvent being replaced, resulting in the new designation KY-1908.
KY-1908 is not yet available in large quantities, but we will continue to supply KY-1901 until Q1 2025, ensuring a secure purchase option.

The minimum packaging unit for KY-1908 is 100 grams per bottle. To ensure material stability, we recommend a minimum purchase unit of 100 grams . The typical mixing ratio with the F-026 diluent is 1:200 (0.5%). However, different applications may require different ratios; please contact us for specific recommendations.
Each bottle of Shin-Etsu KY-series agent has a net weight of 100 grams, with 20 bottles per box (net weight 2 KG)
